The Duke of York visits Nanoco
Nanoco Group plc, a world leader in the development and manufacture of cadmium-free quantum dots and other nanomaterials, is delighted to announce that The Duke of York visited the Company’s headquarters in Manchester and discussed the Company’s technology with the Nanoco team.
His Royal Highness’s tour of Nanoco took place on Tuesday 14 February 2012 and formed part of his visit to the University of Manchester in connection with the Government’s planned nanotechnology hub for research into graphene, a carbon nanomaterial. The Duke of York is keen to promote the UK as the best place in the world for science and engineering.
Whilst visiting Nanoco, His Royal Highness toured the Company’s laboratories and offices and was given a demonstration of the Company’s quantum dots in use in various applications including the next generation of LED TVs.
